When visiting Beauty By Demelza you will be required to have a full consultation prior to any new treatment to ensure that it is suitable and there are no contra-indications. All information given at this time must be true to your knowledge and Demelza will not be held liable for any adverse reactions or outcomes. All allergies, sensitivies, medical complications and medications must be stated.

All after care will be discussed at this time. All your records will be kept safely and securely in line with the Data Protection Act. 

 

Payment can be made via bank transfer, cash or card. All treatments must be paid for on the day.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment here at Beauty By Demelza is very important and that time is reserved just for you. It is understandable that sometimes adjustments are necessary however it is respectfully requested that you give at least 48 hours notice if you need to change or adjust your appointment. If you give atleast 48 hours notice we will happily re-schedule your appointment.

 

Less than 48 hours notice  - 50% treatment cost must still be paid.

(your deposit will not be refunded)

 

Less than 24 hours notice  - full treatment cost must still be paid.

If this is not paid, you will not be able to book any future treatments with me.

Deposits

You will be asked to pay a 50% deposit upon booking your appointment.

This is non-refundable, but it is transferable if you give atleast 48 hours + notice.

Payment

Payments must be made before you leave your treatment. Both cash & bank transfer are accepted. You can pay in advance if that suits you better.

For courses - prices must be paid at beginning of first treatment.

Laser Treatments 

Some treatments aren’t suitable for everybody, so before we perform any Laser treatments, we carry out a full consultation & patch test. This is to make sure there are no health, medical or treatment-related reasons why you might not be able to have your desired treatment. During our consultations we fully explain the treatment process, any risks, and what you can expect in terms of results. You also have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the treatment.

Covid 19:

If the client is needing to move their date due to covid national lockdowns, then Beauty by Demelza must be informed. Where possible Beauty By Demelza will try to accommodate the new requested date. However, if this is not possible the money payable on the day will be waved and suggestion of other makeup artists will be made. If the client wishes to move their date, cancel or amend when no legal restrictions are in place then all monies owed will still be applicable If the new date cannot be accommodated.

Beauty By Demelza must be informed of any cases of Covid within the wedding party or any members of their household and reserves the right to not perform makeup services if anyone tests positive. All deposits and amount due for the wedding day must be paid in full or is at the discretion of Beauty By Demelza.

Patch Testing

Certain treatments require patch testing prior to treatment.

Without patch testing for these services such as laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation and tinting and lifting treatments there will be no treatment without this being undertaken.

Aftercare

It is essential that Aftercare is always followed by the individual which will be provided by Beauty by Demelza.

Aftercare not being followed may result in the outcomes not being optimal and the individual’s health and safety being compromised. Beauty by Demelza is not liable.
