Profhilo is a patented technology that uses unique characteristics to remodel skin laxity that is free of any chemical crosslinking agents. It uses stable hybrid cooperative complexes of hyaluronic acid at high and low molecular weights. Profhilo results in increased firmness, elasticity and an overall improved quality of skin, with the effects lasting up to six months. This treatment is particularly effective for those between 40-60 years old. Profhilo diffuses within the skin after injection and over a four week period it stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin. Unlike Seventy Hyal this product is not massaged into the skin after injection. Profhilo is used to treat the face and/or neck area. Micro needling is a skin treatment also known as Collagen induction therapy that is used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, reduce acne scarring and pigmentation and improve skin quality and texture. The treatment is slightly uncomfortable but not painful. The treatment works by creating micro-wounds to the skin (dermis) which stimulate the body’s own collagen and elastin production resulting in a plumper, smoother more youthful appearance. This is performed using a Micro needling Skinpen. During the treatment the device is passed over the skin several times which can be slightly uncomfortable. After the treatment there will be some redness and a small degree of sensitivity and tightness similar to mild sunburn however, this usually diminishes within a few hours and the skin will be healed within 48 hours. You may experience some skin dryness and flakiness a few days after the treatment, so it is advised to use a good moisturiser and drink plenty of water. Typically, results are seen after approximately 6-8 weeks. Whilst result can be seen from one initial treatment it is recommended that a course of 6 are completed to get the full benefits and results.
